Spanish or Portuguese Interpreter arrives onsite 15 minutes prior to USCIS interview time to assist with clearing front entrance security and screening. After entering building, all parties including the applicant and or sponsor as well as the interpreter are instructed to proceed to the customer service window to register for the appointment. After registration is complete, the applicant and or sponsor are given a number and asked to take a seat in the waiting area/ lobby until they are called by said number by the assigned USCIS officer . They are then ushered into the officer's individual interview room for the commencement of the corresponding USCIS benefit and or adjustment of status application. Once in the room, all the parties as well as the interpreter are sworn in before proceeding to the interview. he entire exchange is interpreted from English to the applicant's and or sponsor's native language be it Spanish or Portuguese.
